In my setup I don't use IPv6

Depends on your make/model of device, but generally, yes.
Use Firmware Selector to have an image already include it (including luci-proto-wireguard should add the other dependencies such as wireguard-tools and kmod-wireguard).
If you use Wireguard config files, you'd get it from the VPN provider.

If you want just one of your LAN clients by its IP address to route via the VPN and not all your traffic then you need Policy Based Routing.
