My AX55 v1 isn't in the firmware selector

Hey all,

My router is tp link Archer ax55, thing is i couldnt find the router on firmware ware list so im afraid to install openWRT on the router and i lose the router ... as far as i know installing openWRT on routers thats not supported may cost me a whole router

Thanks

...and the logical conclusion of your findings would be?

If you force some random image on your unsupported device you probably will not lose the whole thing, should be perfectly fine as a doorstop.

I do have Archer ax55 version 1.0

There are no Archer AX55 models supported. You can help find out if it is possible to support this device:

Yep rev1.0 is broadcom based platform, so, have fun:)

IPQ50xx according to Add support for TP-LINK AX55 V1.

V2 v3 brcm ...

Ah yes, thanks for correcting me, so it's not a good choice. Only this ax55 pro v2 is mediatek based.

Which indeed makes it worthwhile target if you are up to the task, in a new thread...

The AX55 Pro is more interesting looking at its specs.
