Mikrotik rbwapg-5hact2hnd-be

I got router - Mikrotik rbwapg-5hact2hnd-be
Note the "-be" ending.

Could it be the difference that prevents OWRT installing?

Background:

I tried to install by using common metthod for Mikrotik routers as I successfully did for some Mikrotik routers already, but different models.

I did downgrade to routeros-mipsbe-6.49.18.npk

I can get it to run OWRT in the first step by loading initramfs.bin, but second step when I upload sysupgrde.bin fails and I am getting a kind of bricked router. I.e. eth led shows activity, but I could not get up any IP of router. Tried DHCP, other common known manual ranges etc.

I can kinda of unbrick and get successful first step with initramfs.bin, but the second step - the same.

I used firmware from: https://openwrt.org/toh/mikrotik/wap_ac_rbwapg-5hact2hnd

Which of tjree firmwares was used at each step?

be is just short for Black Edition.

What could I detect or diagnose when I am in OWRT initramfs version (in first step) ?

You sysupgrade with sysupgrade file from interim initramfs.

Hmm, how do you mean?
I took this for first step (and this was sucessful):
https://downloads.openwrt.org/releases/24.10.0/targets/ath79/mikrotik/openwrt-24.10.0-ath79-mikrotik-mikrotik_routerboard-wap-g-5hact2hnd-initramfs-kernel.bin
Then when started OWRT ( with prompt to upgrade with sysupgrade) I used this (that failed):
https://downloads.openwrt.org/releases/24.10.0/targets/ath79/mikrotik/openwrt-24.10.0-ath79-mikrotik-mikrotik_routerboard-wap-g-5hact2hnd-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin

Hmm, could it be so, that there is not enough space or something similar?
When I downgraded RouterOS, than I had to upload it to the router. Later I did not delete it (before installing OpenWRT).

You van reset routeros itself so it is close to shipped configuration
