Migrating TL-WDR4300v1 from Gargoyle to OpenWrt

My TL-WDR4300v1 is currently running Gargoyle v1.12 (which is based on OpenWRT 18.06.5). Various posts have led me to believe that, because Gargoyle has OpenWRT under the hood, I can upgrade to OpenWrt 19.07.7 by simply loading the "sysupgrade" package via the Gargoyle web UI. Can anyone confirm this for me?
Also, the "Table of Hardware" shows the following for the above router:

  • tl-wdr4300-v1-squashfs-factory.bin
  • tl-wdr4300-v1-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin

However, the download page also lists:

  • tl-wdr4300-v1-il-squashfs-factory.bin
  • tl-wdr4300-v1-il-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin

What are the "il" versions?
