MF286D - regular disconnects

I'm running version 24.10.0 with modem firmware revision as by subject.
I recently upgraded modem firmware from B02 to B12 as I was regularly receiving the message "no internet connection" forcing me to restart the wwan0 interface.
It's a while I upgraded but I notice the issue is not solved.
Is there something I can do to improve the situation?
Thanks

Does the disconnects come after the same amount of uptime, every time ?

It's not a disconnection, it seems it freezes: no connection for devices and no increase on rx/tx traffic

Call it what you want, are they happening at a fixed frequency?

 it's not matter of minutes otherwise I could precisely notice it, I'll take note about when I restart the interface

Ok, just restarted. It's the second time today since this morning when I turned on the modem/router.
Both time it occurred after four hours, some minutes less the first time, some minutes more the second time

Looks like a regular provider initiated disconnect.
Search the forum for "watchcat".

FWIW, my MF286D connection is dead stable. Currently been up for months:

Running BD_TELIAMF286DV1.0.0B11 modem firmware. Never bothered to upgrade after the initial OpenWrt install.

Not using it much though, as the traffic counters show. It's just for redundancy

That's impressive. Mine is rarely used as a backup only, flashed with Nordic b14 and configured as a bridge.

Do you have any insight on why these disconnects are occurring?

Which was previous version of installed app (Elisa, Nordic, TIM, etc). Just curious ....
Last question, if I get an error issuing same command, does this mean my provider is not "classified"?
Thanks

Thanks, I'll go to implement it, I'll keep you posted about

Nordic. This device is originally sold by Telia Norway

... and Sweden.

Can I add my provider by myself?

That specific command depends on using ModemManager. And it refers to my currently connected bearer ("1"). If you're running ModemManager with a single modem then you can use mmcli -m any to get an overview of the modem status, including a list of connected bearers.

Doesn't look like packet stats is implemented in uqmi yet, so there is no easy way to retrieve those counters if you use uqmi. The duration/start date values are probably internal to ModemManager. It can do that since it runs as a daemon.

One reason could be a sim with a FWA contract. That was the case when I got MF286D from TIM (Italy). And I do not remember disconnections/freezes.
Then, as TIM contract was annual and I use the device in an holiday house, so I shifted to another operator where I can monthly re-activate the SIM. Also, a more convenient price.
I guess the difference for me could rely in a delta between a specific FWA sim and a generic one.
