I'm quite new with the use of OpenWrt, trying to understand how to set up a network with a router running OpenWrt and two wireless access points ( Zyxel Nebula NWA50AX WiFi 6) connected through a POE+ switch.
My setup looks like this:
How can I configure my router and the two access points to work as a seamless mesh network?
Thanks in advance
Tom

since the APs are wired, you don't need/want mesh, but roaming.
802.11r should be good enough.

Ok, I'll try the guide. However, my AP only has one ethernet port, but I guess/hope it still we work as described in the guide.
Thanks,
Tom

most important part is probably disabling the dhcp server(s) and firewall.

Yes, the dumbAP only uses the lan interface to connect to the upstream router.
