Hi an forgive me stupid question. I it possible to connect two routers (master) Acer RT-AC58U with stock firmware and (slave) Linksys WRT1200AC running Openwrt-22.03 firmware. If so can anybody guide me how to do so?
The acer will have to support 802.11s mesh for it to be compatible with OpenWRT and more than likely… it’s not. Stock firmwares from manufactures are proprietary making them very difficult to work with other devices in the manner you’re seeking.
