Mariadb lite router

Hello, all. has anyone made a lite version of mariadb that can be used for routers without using swap like we use mysql-server which has been dead for a long time I saw someone made the lite version of mariadb but when I tried it I had trouble because of a database socket error.

note this discussion is about mariadb for routers and nothing else

and are you OK with the DB getting wiped on every reboot ?

that's not the point.

if you're not OK with losing the data, you need external storage, if you do, you might as well add swap to it too.
