First I wanna thank you all for the work you do on this project. This is a laypersons question and I admit to having searched a bit for an answer and may have read it without actually understanding it.
When I use the FILES directive and point to a directory where there are config files that I want to override the default config files; what actually happens seems to be a merge of my config file and the default config file. For instances my directory has a file names "network" but it doesn't contain any of the default stuff. However, when I install the firmware both my network setting AND the default settings remain in the file.
Is there a way to instruct the scripts to replace instead of merge?
