Low WiFi signal

What? From the beginning @slh advised against getting an m2 card, therefore the alternative of getting a cheap Wifi router to work just as an Access Point. But if it is just going to work as an Access Point, and not a router as I already have the NanoPi with OpenWrt for that, then I wonder why I need to spend more money in a router that is supported by OpenWrt?

For 200€ you get the full BananaPi R4 package with wifi card and case and everything.

And if that is too bleeding edge, the R3 is even cheaper.

And then he has everything he will ever need. Good wifi capabilities, good openwrt support, built-in switch, sfp extensibility, nvme extensibility, LTE extensibility.

Hahaha, sorry, maybe I have not made myself clear...

I ALREADY have the NanoPi R5C. I DO intend to keep it. At this point all I am looking for is, as suggested by @slh, a cheap Wifi AP. Wondering if even a repeater would do the job.

Banana Pi has a couple of cheap router models with OpenWrt.

Buffalo WZR-450HP2 support added in 24.10, this can do the range and shouldn't cost more than 10Euro.

they'll ship to ES if you email them, I had to do the same to get mine sent to SE.
