Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations:
Software Engineer will:
- Develop, maintain software for Wi-Fi Router product line.
- Contribute to and review engineering and user-end documentations, functional and design specifications, test plans, etc
- Basic knowledge in network design, network architecture, protocols and network topology, TCP/IP and the OSI Model
- Create software components on routers and perform unit testing of those.
- Strong 'C' programming skills are mandatory
- 2+ years of experience with embedded Linux
- Familiarity with software configuration management tools, defect tracking tools
NICE TO HAVE
Networking/wireless/WIFI development background
OpenSync/OpenWRT or router development
Knowledge of C++ / Python would be an added advantage
Knowledge of IPv6 is a plus
