I have a Sagemcom F@ST 5366S router, which I believe is used by various ISPs like Orange and MásMóvil. I know it’s Broadcom-based and quite locked down — a lot of the advanced options are hidden or stripped from the interface.
I'm looking for any of the following:
A stock firmware image (even if it’s ISP-branded)
A full firmware dump (if anyone managed to extract one)
Any tools, tips, or resources related to unlocking or accessing more of the system
I don’t have UART access at the moment (still need to get a USB to TTL adapter), and I’m not a developer — just someone interested in exploring this router more deeply and hopefully restoring or expanding its functionality.
If you have any info, files, or even partial leads, I’d really appreciate it.
That would definitely be an option if I actually got it from an ISP that I had a contract with or something. However, I bought this router second-hand. It's still in good shape. It just needs unlocking or a reverse engineered firmware. Something like that. Regarding the chipsets. They're not open source. If they were open source I would've flashed openwrt without hesitation or looking back, lol. But these stubborn BCM routers would need exploits or something to enable ssh or telnet so you can unlock the WAN configuration and other basic configurations. Thanks for the reply, man. Appreciate it.
OpenWrt support for new Broadcom devices is extraordinarily unlikely, so nobody on these forums will be working with devices like yours. Please reach out to the ISP or the manufacturer for help.
I've already tried to contact ISPs and manufacturers to no avail. I already know that it's extremely challenging to support BCM devices because of missing drivers. However, just having a firmware dump signed or unsigned would be helpful. Moreover, I'm really thankful that you guys exist in this world. Keep up the good work and thanks for the reply.
