Linksys WRT1900ACSv2 upgrade from 21.02 to 23.05 - skip 22.03?

I'm running 21.02.05 on my WRT1900ACSv2.
Support for this device was withdrawn from 22.03 because the kernel version didn't work with the WiFi. (https://forum.openwrt.org/t/22-03-x-no-release-builds-for-turris-omnia-linksys-wrt-clearfog/147955/1)
Now I want to upgrade to 23.05:

  1. Can I upgrade directly from 21.02 to 23.05 and skip 22.03?

  2. Where can I find out about any configuration changes I need to make for 23.05?

It’s not advised to bypass interim releases and try to keep config. Take a Backup for reference.

Skipping 22.03.x shouldn't really be an issues, but I'd advise against keeping the config, as there have been changes both on the wired networking- and wireless side (nothing really major, but enough small things to want a clean start). Therefore better to use sysupgrade -n (clearing the configs to defaults) and then re-integrating the changes you need.
