Legacy old OpenWrt wiki Huawei HG

Hi. I was wondering is there any progress with that old device. I have old Huawei HG532e model taken out of the closet from the basement and want to flash openwrt build firmware just like user:routednbooted did. Its not about that i cant afford decent hardware i already has cisco and mikrotik routers but want to make this device usable for example wifi-repeater instead to go in trash... you know.

Microprocessor without Interlocked Pipelined Stages architecture.

https://oldwiki.archive.openwrt.org/toh/huawei/hg532 (here is hg532f model) mine is 532e not sure does it make a difference in hardware specs.

If routednbooted user is still here, would be glad if can share any thoughts if he likes.

Thanks!

Best regards :: !

The device has 4 MB flash (hard no-go) and 16 MB RAM (solid hard no-go), there won't ever be any 'progress' about it.

Ok. Solid hard no-go to be supported release/build 23.05.0-rc2, i am aware of that. But somehow this guy flashed old version that working except xDSL of course. That's what i'm interesting. :slight_smile:
Its 32MB RAM. HG532f is 16.
