Kmod-mt7601u is not working properly

Installing and Using OpenWrt Network and Wireless Configuration

I got a MT7601 based cheap USB WiFi dongle and tried to connect it into my OpenWRT on CubieBoard1 device as a second interface.

It detects the device and it can scan the networks in client mode, but unable to connect to the network. AP mode also not working.

I used the packages kmod-mt7601u and mt7601u-firmware.

After installing following packages it seems working now.

wpa-supplicant
hostapd
hostapd-common
hostapd-utils
