Good afternoon, sorry for the bad English. I have a Keenetic Speedster KN-3010 router and I want to put OpenWRT on it. I see that this model is in the list of supported equipment. https://openwrt.org/toh/hwdata/keenetic/keenetic_kn-3010
When trying to update the firmware, I get a message:
[I] Sep 16 19:25:35 ndm: Core::Syslog: the system log has been cleared.
[E] Sep 16 19:27:50 ndm: Core::System::Firmware: bootloader header
hardware ID is invalid.
[E] Sep 16 19:27:50 ndm: Core::FileSystem::Repository: wrong device
firmware (0x80350015), bootloader header hardware ID is invalid.
[E] Sep 16 19:27:50 ndm: Core::Scgi::Multipart: failed to redirect data:
connection reset by peer.
[C] Sep 16 19:27:50 ndm: Core::Scgi::Session: system failed [0xcffd035e].
In this case, the CPU type is indicated on the site for this model: MediaTek MT7621DAT, but in the log with the device I see MT7621A. Did anyone have a similar problem?
Thanks for the answer.
I guessed to do this without instructions, but I received a “brick” instead of a working device. Could there be a problem in different CPU models?
I saw that the firmware is loaded into the device. After that, after waiting 10 minutes, I tried to log in to the router, but did not get success. There was no network activity on the LAN port either. There was no WiFi indication either. You are right, Bootloader is in order, I was able to roll back. I'll try again.
Dear Frollic, thanks for the help, I managed to load the firmware! Apparently, I did something wrong. I apologize for the anxiety and thanks again for the help!
