Issue with one wireless network (2.4) not visible

Hi,

I have configured OpenWrt on a Trendnet TEW-692GR but I cannot get the Wifi on 2.4GHz interface to work.
The other interface on 5GHz works OK and so do LAN ports.

I have tried lots of different combination of parameters like:

  • channel: auto or assign a number
  • mode: N or legacy
  • ESSID same as an existing one or given a different name
  • Changed country code from World to GB

The log does not show anything useful for me:

Does anyone have any suggestion on what I should do next to see what is going on and fix it?

It looks to me like it is active, but you do net see any signal info because there are no clients connected to it. Have you tried to connect to it?

I tried to connect to it but can't find it in the access point list (from tablet, android phone and computer).
So if radio1 is working and connected, what could be the issue preventing devices to see the Wifi network?
Hide ESSID is definitely not checked.
In General setup I have:

  • Mode: Access Point
  • Hide ESSID: not checked
  • WMM Mode: checked

All other parameters are defaults.

What does iwinfo radio1 info say?

The issue is gone now after I have configured WiFi to switch on and off via cron (which is a functionality I needed).
