Is it good practice for security to isolate wifi clients when connecting to wifi hotspot in client mode?
Are there any downsides.
yeah, they can't talk to each other....if that's desirable.

Well in theory I am the only user, I use this when going around the UK for work and sleep away from home.
I am using "client" config with N or AC to connect to a hotspot with no encryption but a login I get from my home ISP, then I connect to same router via different wifi configured as AP master with encryption, I will be sorting out a VPN for that connection soon.
I just figured that if someone was able to hack my router for any reason isolating them might be an added level of security.
