Is it possible to add Users?

Is it possible to add users to OpenWRT (able to login and restart the wifi service for example)?

I am thinking from the main web Interface and would prefer to have somebody who is not root logging in via SSH, is it possible? Anybody point me to the relevant documents please.

Secondly can somebody point me to the relevant documentation for upgrading 18.06. I installed a fresh version of 18/06 a couple of weeks ago and would like to bring it upto date with the latest service release

[SOLVED] Add new user from UCI

Hello, Is there a way to add users and groups from UCI? I really like the idea to easily replicate my setup to another router/LEDE build, so UCI is my savior, but what about users and groups? In particular, I want to add a new user to restrict accesses to my backup directory, which will be populated with restic. Thank you

Last post provided "the clue": problem with ubus authentication. Not due to luci revision change, but with openwrt/ubus revision change. You will need the sysupgrade version for that, and you can do it form LuCI.

If you don't have much of configuration, don't save old configuration. Ah, and don't upgrade packages.
