I have this CPU (for now it’s doing nothing as an old low-end hardware that too weak for anything desktop related), small motherboard and small case so I thinking about building OpenWRT x86 home router. Is this CPU enough or I need look to something like i5 (i7 I think overkill here). I'm quite newbie btw but I think since I already have most hardware then it's way more simple to me just build it than struggling to install OpenWRT on my TP-Link router (got error about wrong file and for now feel too lazy to try next TFTP). Thanks for your advices (waiting)!
If you are talking about zapret tool - it uses minimal resources.
For VPN - a filogic router would spend 10x less electricity(but i3 is valid for any networking), check fifty bucks cudy ??3000? in local stores.
What is exact model of your tplink? If supported it must be able to do zapret part.
If your gh is censored it is hete via onions

I have TP-Link EC220-G5 v2. It's in list of supported hardware but update via default WebUI on 192.168.0.1
not working. Version of firmware is 3.23
. It also may be customized by my Internet provider
Reset it, the "ready to provision" state is not so locked down.
You mean pressing reset button at the back of router? I tried this but that not helped. Still same error. Btw I noticed that my router even can't read it's own configuration .bin
files that I created in it's WebUI (same error that file is not suitable) so I had to input settings in welcome screen to restore internet connection
Local user guide from your provider. There is no hardwired reset function in most routers.
I did it! Installed on TP-Link and configured PPPoE. Will try install Zapret
