That is a really good writeup. I have set up a v6 only LAN by doing some of the things there. The DHCP options are new to me and I will be trying those out. Also I only did the bare minimum with Jool to make it work. At home I use T-mobile which is a v6 centered network and they provide DNS64 and a large NAT64 in their network, so it is not necessary to build those at home-- nor is it possible to have your own NAT64, since you don't have a real outgoing IPv4.

That means you can not use old IPv4 only hardware any more. In my case, a good occasion to get rid of old insecure hardware.

What VPN provider are you using? Do you use the Wireguard protocol?

It seems we have a workaround for the empty IN-tag bug. I added the workaround at the end of the “Configure Jool“ sectionl (thank you brada4 (Andrew) for finding and suggesting this workaround).
