IPv6 assignment max length

What the max length of ip6assign field in the network configuration file? It should can be set to 128 in ipv6 protocol, but if I set to 128 then the web page show error, show the max value is 64.

  • You should be able to use any valid value on the hex barrier.
  • /128 is not valid for an Internet-connect network.
  • Why do you believe the max value is /64?

It's a bit hard to assign smaller prefixes than 64 as it will mess things like SLAAC.
Why do you need smaller subnets?
Why don't you use static then?
