I've put this in my /etc/rc.local : # fix sysupgrade grep -q "service wpad stop 2>/dev/null; sleep" "/lib/upgrade/stage2" || sed -i "\~^killall -9 telnetd~i service wpad stop 2>/dev/null; sleep 6\n" "/lib/upgrade/stage2" Is there an offical fix on the way so it gets changed in master/snapshot accordingly?

might want to create a ticket on github for this one, it need to go there sooner or later anyway.
just make sure there isn't one already.

That's nice, it allows stage2 upgrades from snapshots. The issue is reported here: https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=216513

Looks like this is Qualcomm's doing 100% (again). I suppose they will fix it at some point.

wasted way too much time... i flagged it as a bug in the fw...
I have a workaround that fix the sysupgrade problem but it's really an hack

considering the amount of time i had to retry a sysupgrade I think I will implement this hack since the wpad sleep is really not acceptable for me....

@Catfriend1 perhaps the subject should read IPQ8074, not Xiaomi AX3600, since it's not a device specific issue ?

mac80211: ath11k: add HACK patch to fix failing sysupgrade

Think I will just implement this solution while I find time and hope ath11k find some time to bisect this.

(would be good to get some feedback and testing from this)
