Internet Radio with Network Error

Hi everybody!

I've set up my Home WiFi with a cascaded router scenario - Fritzbox with ISP connection and routed Openwrt Router behind it for different home networks.

Now I want to use a Guest Network that I've set up with the Openwrt router for different Internet depending devices. For mobile phones and laptop there is no issue connecting the WiFi and Internet. An Internet radio device shows a network error though. Interestingly it gets the correct time, so some kind of connection is established. How can I find out, where the connection fails? As I use adblock and stubby there are several spots for issues. Any option for tracking the connection of the device? Other diagnostic options?

Thanks a lot!

then start by disabling them ?

Thanks for the idea! Disabling Adblock does not change anything. Disabling Stubby is a bit more sophisticated I recon. After I deactivated all DNS forwards within DNSmasq and the interfaces no more Internet works :frowning:

But even if Stubby appears to be the problem, wouldn't it still be a good step to find out which connection the device tries to establish and maybe whitelist them?

Okay so Stubby does not seem to be the problem. It's the radio station itself. If I used Whitelisting the website of the radio (bbc.co.uk) it did not change anything. Maybe it is a DNS issue, maybe a port. I've now connected to a neighbours Wifi which is a sad solution but I did not find any other
