I am running open wrt chaos calmer 15.05 on a dragino. I would like to grant internet access to the device via wan (in my case its lan eth0) and enable internet access via wifi ap so that other devices can connect as client and gain access to internet. I was able to configure the /etc/config/network file to grant internet access via lan. Other devices can also connect to the device via wifi as clients. But they aren't getting internet connectivity. Do I need to change any other configurations? Any help would be much appreciated.
Chaos Calmer is very old and unsupported. Therefore it has unpatched vulnerabilities and should be upgraded to a recent stable version.
I was not able to find your device to check its details.
The dumbAP configuration can do the job however.
