My goal is to use vpn on my router.. but still can't make it

more detail would be good. such as the protocol you want/need to use, if your router will be a client for a commercial service or a server for a road warrior config, etc.

First get the basics setup... wifi, basic internet. Then worry about the rest.

Did you read the guide provided?

Have you described the type of Internet connection you have?

We can't guess - and OpenWrt works out-of-the-box for stand Ethernet based Internet connections.

State details of your internet service plan. e.g. cable, dsl ...
State details of your current network. e.g. modem/gateway device in use ...
