I am trying to expand my networking knowledge. I have a gt784wn dsl router, which is no longer on the supported hardware list. However, the gt784wnv IS on the supported hardware list. Mine is the NCS (not customer specific) router and the other is, I think, Verizon specific.
My question is, "Are there some relatively simple configuration or build options that will allow OpenWrt to function on my gt784wn?"
If the gt784wnv firmware can run on the gt784wn, I plan to ignore the dsl connection and try using mwan3 to configure one of the lan ports as a wan port, so that I can try subnetting my home network.
