Installing and setting up Shadowsocks

The provided link returns "404". I'd also be interested in how to route all network traffic through the defined remote socks server. cant seem to get it working. Can you please elaborate on the instance setup (local, tunnle, redir...)? hands on resources on this are really scarce... thank you!

I have moved your post to a new thread because it was in a 5 year old thread that probably has no relevance at this time.

Here's information about Shadowsocks -- please let us know if you have more questions.

thank your! questions remain. I have set up a redirect instance and rules.. but best I can get is block out internet access completely. might need to mention I am using a openvpn so the proxy should work inside that tunnel... its a travel router setup soo wlan interface is used to connect to public and or private APs.. i am shutting my self out the internet once i include lan as ingress interface...
Any help be greatly appreciated

I actually did the reverse in the past, although I don't remember the details of how I got it to work...

An OpenVPN tunnel was formed within the Shadowsocks connection as to obfuscate the OpenVPN connection. This was all done with 2 OpenWrt devices -- one on each side (road-warrior type VPN configuration). I don't think my architecture applies, though, since you're doing the reverse (wrapping ShadowSocks within OpenVPN).
