Installed a Package Using (--force-depends), Then Got Stuck In Booting!

Hello gents,

I'm using VoCore2 running OpenWrt, and I did install a package this way:
kmod install kmod-usb-net --force-depends
After that the rebooting never ends

Never forcefully install packages, and especially not kernel modules. Resetting OpenWRT to default settings will clear the overlay, and hence will uninstall the package and should allow you to boot again.

If you want to install a package that complains about an incorrect kernel version, you can do two things:

install a stable release (currently 18.06.5 is the newest, 19.07 RC2 if you are adventurous) and install the wanted packages
if you want to use a snapshot (which I suspect you are using) you must immediately install the packages you want. If you wait, snapshots will receive updates and the packages will be built against these newer targets. That will prevent you from installing those packages on outdated snapshots.
