Installation of packages by USB

So I wanted to know if you can place the packages and somehow recognize it the router with openwrt to install it from USB Can you?

Are you trying to install onto a usb storage device, or from one?

To install onto a usb device, look at the extroot process (there are other ways, but this one makes things work transparently).

If trying to install from a usb device, make sure you have the appropriate usb, block, and file system tools installed, mount the drive and then use opkg install <full path to package> to install the package. Make sure you have all dependencies satisfied by either having an active internet connection, or having the appropriate packages saved on your usb device.

My idea is to save the necessary packages on a usb. Is it possible?

Yes it's possible. @psherman answered you above.
