I can see on Amazon that the WR3000 is advertised as "AX3000" refering to is wifi performance. It is indeed the WR3000.
It's a different device.
Get product barcode from the box
Here is the bottom label of the WR3000. It is written AX3000, but this is the wifi capabilites. The Model is clearly the WR3000.

You have to update with signed openwrt image from cudy first before going to latest openwrt

Not this one. Search for Cudy Wr3000 v1. If you really have Cudy.
