Including logrotate in package

I'm building a package that gives the option to include logrotate. To provision this, I'm including the /etc/logrotate.d/ file.

Do I also have to include a /etc/cronjobs/ file to trigger /usr/sbin/logrotate /etc/logrotate.conf? Just touch and edit a file under /etc/cronjobs and use the standard format?
