I have some connection issues with my iPhone. Using DAWN and 802.11r to get a good roaming. It seems that there is an issue with band steering and my WAX206 (MT7622, 23.05.2) devices. At the end after occurrence of the error (see github issue) I ran into massiv "IEEE 802.11: did not acknowledge authentication Response" messages and my device cannot connect anymore like described in the post from 2019 also. Independently from the error what is the meaning of this message?
"Allow AP mode to disconnect STAs based on low ACK condition" is set off.
Not sure if this helps, but, I had the same issue as described in the github link (mt7915e timeouts)
My AP details:
Ubiquiti UniFi 6 Lite
MediaTek MT7621 ver:1 eco:3
OpenWrt 22.03.5 r20134-5f15225c1e
I had 3 clients continuously experiencing the authentication problem.
My problem was resolved by two changes I made:
changed country code to GB from ‘default for driver’
disabled ‘Disassociate On Low Ack’
This may be the solution.
I noticed that these problems occurred after the GB summer time change on Sunday 30 March. It may be the country code caused some sync problems with some clients.
I have another Ubiquiti AP that did not have these issues.
Ubiquiti UniFi AC Pro
Qualcomm Atheros QCA956X ver 1 rev 0
I cannot see how to get to the original github thread (it's mirrored from git) to be able to add this info.
