In order to get appropriate help, you will need to provide more detailed answers. Otherwise, we won't have enough information to give you any guidance.
First, and most importantly...
- what is your ISP connection method? (the 3 typical options are: DHCP, PPPoE, or Static IP). And is there a VLAN ID required?
- if you don't know, you will need to ask your ISP for that information. It is mandatory and critical.
- If you use PPPoE or Static IP, you also need to know the details of that connection (PPPoE requires login credentials; Static IP requires the IP address, subnet mask/size, gateway, and DNS)
Please provide the above information, and if you don't have it, ask your ISP.
Hi,it is dhcp it was like when i put the cable in any router without any adjusment internet work
- Are you able to access the web GUI at https://192.168.1.1
- It would be on the overview page upon long, under "IPv4 Upstream"
- Can you verify OpenWrt successfully installed on your device?
This sounds like a wireless ISP with an antenna provided by the company pointed at a nearby tower. Make sure the wan IP issued by the "antenna" is not also in the 192.168.1.X range. If it is, you will need to change your LAN IP to something else such as 192.168.2.1.
Thanks you all it was dhcp and it start working from resetin back of the modem not by software
