It seems I miss something, I just can't get the router to have both LAN and internet connection at the same time. When I connect the cable from switch to router's LAN cable I get LAN connection but no internet and when I connect the cable to router's wan cable I get only internet with no LAN connection. I thing I mess up in router's configuration. Can you help? I just want to extend the connection from the switch to wi-fi and I must have both internet and LAN.
Without knowing your topology or goals, it sounds as if you are looking to use your box as a "dumb AP" -- providing only wireless connectivity for your LAN clients. If so, take a look at
