Hi there,
I have LB-LINK BL-W1200, here is the specs
https://openwrt.org/toh/hwdata/lb-link/lb-link_bl-w1200
According to this:
it is capable of HW NAT.
Is is supported by OpenWRT? How to enable it?
Thanks in advance for any help
Greg

there's also https://openwrt.org/supported_devices/864_warning
HW NAT is not supported in old SoCs. But there is some improvement in hardware offload checkbox that soft-offloads between physical ports as opposed to conservative soft-offload preserving full ARP and bridge fib function.
I already installed OpenWRT. What I'm trying to do now is to set up HW NAT.
What do you think about this:
which part was unclear ?
and what would you like us to do with the linked 11 years old (I'm assuming) vendor SDK ?
Run the tests using https://www.waveform.com/tools/bufferbloat
And post the links at 3 offload levels wired with no ssh connection or browser luci open.
Do not try to fix what is not broken. Actually there is no fix, if it does not work well enough it is time to upgrade (you can still sell your old router to some DSL user)
