* /etc/rc.common: line 157: can't create /usr/share/nftables.d/ruleset-post/20-https-dns-proxy-notrack.nft: nonexistent directory
Also, as a general rule, should I be checking the box for downloads in the left bottom corner allowing overwrites to conflicting package files? Thanks
Give it a try, just ignore. Because should only disable notrack option, which is just an optional performance enhancing feature. Or, even better, disable notrack option in config for https-dns-proxy. However, reported bug to be fixed.
It is already fixed but not yet in public builds ![]()
Ok, thank you. Any estimate as to when and how will I know it’s available? So security/privacy is not an issue the way it is now? Do I need the luci-app-https-dns-proxy, good idea to add that or not? Also since I added my own dns sever preference from the list, what “Source(Bind to) address should I use? Thanks
As I wrote, only performance enhancing option. I am using it without LuCI, because of custom built image. Sorry, do not understand ““Source(Bind to) address”
At the bottom of the page is HTTPS DNS Proxy-Instances, followed by Listen address, Listen port and Source bind to address which has a *. The original download had something there, but when I delete and re download to try to find the default it just downloads what I already set up as my preferred provider. What was the default Source(Bind to) address and what should I put there?
Solved. The Source(Bind to) is an “Optional source IP address for outgoing connections.” For special situations it can be used, but basic use, fine as is.
