You did not provide clear enough explanation on what you are actually trying to do. Without info, there won't be sensible answers...

What are you aiming to do?
Disable DHCP on WAN? on LAN?

(If you just want to disable DHCP in LAN, just add the ignore 1 option for dhcp in LAN config section. Or do the same in LuCI by selecting "Ignore interface" for that LAN interface.)
