How To Compile DNSCrypt 2 and Include It In My OpenWrt Build

I've had a fair bit of practice compiling my own OpenWRT builds for my Linksys WRT1900AC. I would like to use DNSCrypt-proxy on my router but the Luci app and version of DNSCrypt is currently at 1.9.5. There is a version 2 out and I would like to compile it into my router firmware so that is hasn't got to be installed manually after. How do I do this please?
