Dear All,
Kindly share if you have any idea to block all tiles from prime video in firetvstick.
Now a days, every firetvstick showing vulgar tiles. there is no option to hide or can change profile to Kids. nothing we have to hide or remove the tile.
Its only possible in web browser. it's a big issue where every child watching every tiles. its shameless.
If anybody can help me to block that api/url which showing tiles, it will be very helpful. Many thanks in advanced.
I am using OpenWrt 23.05.4
with D-Link DIR-2640 A1
You have to analyze traffic with tcpdump+wireshark and try to distinguish nsfw from good.
then banip or one of small adguards can block name or ip as found.
Does not it have playroom mode like android esp samsung?

I have already tried posible solutions, also I have connected to customer care, in firetv we can't select kids profile. Kids profile only working with web browser. Form last month I have tried many solutions even I have created new account with my kids Gmail where I have added his age as under 10, but while creating account on Amazon. It's not asking the age and treated as adult and open all content for him. By default it's created an adult profile.
So, no solution for now even customer care said we are showing results according to your choice and search content. It's not true, new account also not working. Facing same issues.
So please help me to block tiles permanently, I am not using Amazon contact only YouTube and we are using it this.
The parental controls are there and they are effective. They even allow you to restrict all content: If you turn on the padlock on all the available options, any Prime Video content will require the parental control PIN to watch.
To all intents and purposes this is impossible on a routing level, especially with heavily encrypted content like on video streaming platforms.
I did try, and it works just like in the screenshots (which I did not make up just to troll you). I also know several people who use Amazon's parental control features for their kids, successfully.
Then again, this is not an Amazon Fire TV Stick support forum, so let's stick to your OpenWrt-related question:
