I'm kind of confused with meshed network.
would nodes prefer to forward traffic to other nodes that will result in less overall hops regardless of signal quality (lower throughput)?
or would it prefer to forward traffic to other nodes that has a better signal quality regardless if it would take more hops?
Which mesh technology are you specifically referring to in your inquiry?
- OLSR
- Batman
- 802.11s
- etc.?
- ...or are you under the impression they all use the same algorithm and hence you believe the answer should be "general"?
