How can I find "Allow modules with non-matching BTF type info" in menuconfig?

Global build settings > Kernel build options

Are we playing “find five faults” or what exactly are we supposed to see in the pictures that look pretty similar!?

Sry, didn't take a screenshots well. Updated the screenshots.

Again, are we to assume you're referring to a missing line?

Perhaps you can offer 1-3 sentences explaining the issue, providing details, versions, etc.

  • Who?
  • What version?
  • What?
  • Did you ask the other people?
  • Who?
  • What version?
  • What?

I want to enable Allow modules with non-matching BTF type info.

And the other relevant inquires:

Providing this information would allow us to better assist you.

  • What are you showing?
  • Where did you download it from?
  • What version are you using?
  • What version are the other people using?
  • Did you ask the other people - if so, what did they say?
  1. make menuconfig command, Global build settings > Kernel build options
  2. I cloned openwrt git from https://github.com/openwrt/openwrt
  3. v23.05.1
  4. v23.05.0

tried comparing or simply copying the .config file across ?

I don’t know what field is "Allow modules with non-matching BTF type info" in .config.

that's why you were told to copy the file, as an alternative ?

That kernel option was reverted in 23.05 because it isn’t available in 5.15. Only main has it.
