Hostapd wireless error in 19.07.1 (wireless adapter pass-through into vm)

Greetings,

I have a self built openwrt based on 19.07.1 running atop of x64 vm.
I've configured an usb wireless adapter to pass-through into the vm and I've configured the wireless.
but I'm unable to connect to it, the system logs show this:

Posting the full .config makes no sense.
It would be better to show the output of ./scripts/diffconfig.sh
And some details about the adapter and VM might be helpful...

Ps. I edited the thread title to relate more clearly to the context of your setup. Somebody with experience with wireless+VM might actually notice it now.
