Hostapd log spam

I have been running this now for a day or so.

I ahve huge amounts of log spam from these messages and the wifi seems slow.

Can anyone advise please.

Does the MAC belong to the router itself ?

I don't see that mac on any of the interfaces for the router or configured interfaces.

Then you need to figure out who the MAC belongs to.

Yes been scratching my head on that one. I can see it is connected to the WAX202 on the 2.4 ghz network. But I have no idea what it is!

Just tried configuring MAC address filter to allow everything except that mac. I'll see who complains that their internet has gone down!

Not sure why something is flip-flopping the power saving though.

It belongs to a recent batch from Intel.

A laptop in power save mode, perhaps?

Weird but thanks for the additional info. I will check around and see if anything is hibernating and when I can't connect to wifi i'll know.
