Help with reviewing kernel change QCN5502 ath9k

I'm working on a patch to cleanly add support for QCN5502 to the ath9k kernel driver. This patch will allow enabling currently unsupported 2.4GHz wifi on QCN5502 devices in OpenWrt, as shown in this experimental pull request. The ath9k maintainer (@tohojo) has said:

Thanks! FWIW, I don't have any objections in principle to merging this,
but I'm not comfortable doing so until someone has reviewed it. So
anything you can do to help find a reviewer will be helpful

If anyone on this forum could help by providing a review or feedback, that would be helpful.

@nbd One of my patches reverts your commit from a long time ago. I don't know exactly why you did it, so if you could provide any feedback, it would probably be extremely helpful.

Tagging @pepe2k who added support for Archer A9 v6 (QCN5502)

Thanks!

So far so good.

Quick question: I'm trying to figure if that was actually merged into 23.05? Merged into main? Or is it planned to be included in upcoming release, so I could start using "stock" OpenWRT?

Any success with review, @looi ?
