Hi! I continued with finnish translation on hosted.weblate.org. My plan is that I first translate luci-base fully and than continue with other modules. Luci-base is now 86% translated. I was wondering when it will be added to opkg builds?
Is there some percentage check before files are added to openwrt opkg-builds?
It is already there. New translations from Weblate are merged in roughly once per day.
Buildbot builds automatically from the current LuCI code, but it may take 2-3 days before each architecture has been compiled and your newest translations show up. You can naturally build it by yourself already now.
(And note that the translation goes to master, not 19.07. It can be later backported to release branches, but the ongoing translation is always done to master)

Thanks, I installed snapshot version to see my translations, but
it seems that there's no luci packages for arm_cortex-a15_neon-vfpv4 yet. (My device is tplink c2600 ) So I reverted back to 19.07
Is there some simple way to test run translations? (.. by running virtualmachine with opnwrt or so..? )
What do you mean?
I use R7800 that is an ipq806x device, that uses the arm_cortex-a15_neon-vfpv4 package architecture.
Note that you need to install luci to snapshots.
Ps. I just noticed that the next buildbot run is just uploading packages to the download dir, so the luci download contents look empty right now (as old verisons have been cleaned away). Should be ok in a few minutes.

When I tried to install luci or luci-base on snapshot I got following errors:
"opkg_download: Failed to download http://downloads.openwrt.org/snapshots/packages/arm_cortex-a15_neon-vfpv4/luci/luci_git-20.113.70804-9d02ef1_all.ipk, wget returned 8.

and

now it's seems that theres package named luci_git-20.175.71049-cf1de41_all.ipk maybe that will fix this.
But I found that running openwrt on virtual machine is possible, I'll do my translation testing there it's easier than messing with working internet connection with snapshot 
You need to run "opkg update" to update the package lists (as buildbot has built new versions 20.175) and you have a list of the old versions (20.171).

Thanks @hnyman. I installed x64 snapshot on kvm virtualmachine and now I can test my translations with it.
Just discovered I can change the Luci language

It also depends on how much is translated into your language.
Spanish it's already at 100% jaja

I have been localizing WordPress Ukraine for many years. As far as possible, I will do this in the same way for OpenWrt.

Weblate has currently the possibility to use cloud translation tools for auto-translating / suggesting translations. I tested those "Automatic suggestions" with Finnish, and the suggestions are surprisingly good. Three translation engines provide slightly different suggestions for consideration & possible editing, and you copy (end edit) one of those, or straightforwardly accept it with "copy and save".
Even the quotations & HTML tags are taken care of. Pretty neat.
