I have several questions and doubts that I need to solve with my Tp-link Archer MR200 v1 router and I hope someone can help me.
I have it running as a normal router with openwrt 19.17 firmware.
It has the ip address 192.168.1.1 and I have my home devices connected to the 4 connectors with a fixed ip in the same 192.168.1.x range.
I wanted to install a vpn server with wireguard.
Should I update it to 22.03 first?
What are the steps to configure it properly or some .conf file that contains the configuration without having to do anything?
I hope someone can help me with this.

Yes, for once because of the security reasons (19.07.x has been EOL for quite a while now), but also to limit your efforts. It makes more sense to start on more fundamental config changes (adding a VPN) once you are on the current code, with its current syntax/ semantics, than (effectively) having to do it twice.
