Hello, I installed openwrt on vmware, can I use it for the main computer?

Hello, can I use openwrt installed in Vmware for the main computer? Is that vmware setting only for the other virtual computer on Vmware?
I need SQM for main computer.

First adapter (vmxnet or e1000) is LAN and second (cc) is WAN, they both need MAC change and promiscuous checkboxes enabled in switch. The you bridge LAN side to QoS side. Note that e1000 is over gigabit (more like 3 each way) and similarily vmxnet says 10GbE but does whatever outer adapter is capable of.
You QoS has to make BW limits less than physical adapter in each side.

It is called vmware documentation, makes no difference you run windows internet sharing or openwrt.
