Hello..
I am new to openwrt
But yesterday I was able to finally install it on my router with the tutorials, but it doesn't seem to work properly..
My router is hap ac2.
After the initial installation and setup, the first thing I did was to connect my Internet modem to the Internet port with a LAN cable, but even though the connection and the Internet were connected, there were many disconnections and connections.
So that with ping 8.8.8.8, request timeout was displayed every few seconds..
It means that ping was OK at 7-8 times and then 3-4 requests timed out and the same thing happened again.
While I was directly connecting the modem to the Internet, it displayed the correct ping in the best mode without interruption.
I changed the LAN cable and even the modem and ISP, but it didn't make a difference..
In addition, when mikrotik os was still installed on the router, there was no problem with connection and ping.
What is your WAN IP?
Is it 192.168.1.x?
tracert 8.8.8.8
Let's start by looking at your configuration:
Please connect to your OpenWrt device using ssh and copy the output of the following commands and post it here using the "Preformatted text </>
" button:
Remember to redact passwords, MAC addresses and any public IP addresses you may have:
