Guest Network to router on lan

Hi all, it's been a while since i used LEDE/Openwrt, i'm trying to implement a solution, where i have 2 ssids one that has access to internal sites and servers, and one that can only access the internet.

so far i've tried to get a guest network on a different subnet with a firewall rule to allow access to the router on the other subnet.

it does not work. the normal one works, but the guest one connects but no internet.

anyone had any experience with such a solution?
